CoD4: Summer League 2011 - Will You Compete?
The result of the poll was clear. Every second of you voted for a Leagueevent in the upcoming summer. So the Call of Duty 4 adminsquad will follow your voting and make your wish come true.
So today we announce the Summer League.
But trust me, it will be a long and rocky road to succeed - so will you compete?
The Groupstage
You will play in groups of six teams each.
The matches in the groupstage are played over two maps in mr12-mode. So every team has to chose their own map. You will face every opponent in your group.
The first and second one of every group will go directly trough to the playoff-cup.
Matches in the playoffs are played in the best-of-three (BO3) style.
That means, that you have to win two maps. But you will got further informations at the right time.
But you still got your chance!
The third and fourth placed team of every group has got the chance to reach the playoffs with only one more match.
Every third placed will show up against a fourth placed team.
This match is played in BO3, too.
