EuroCup in the Guinness Book of World Records
« on: September 06, 2007, 10:37:50 PM »
The Guinness Book of World Records company had announced that a Gamers Edition of their book is coming. The gaming version is like the orginal book, focussed on all the records in the world. This variates from speed (Like: Quake Done Quick) records to eSports related topics.

So of course the prestigious ClanBase EuroCup is featured in this book aswell, but not only that you will find other eSports facts aswell, like how much money the CPL gave away or how much Fatal1ty won in his gaming carrier.

Guinness Book of World Records wrote:
The Global Gaming League sponsors around 100 video game tournaments every year, including the AmeriCup and EuroCup leagues. The GGL has offered over $1 million in prize money over the past 6 years.

You can find a preview of the book (http://gamers.guinnessworldrecords.com/book2008/preview.aspx)

The book is expected to come at the first Q of 2008.
