1.lol - originally meant "laughing out loud", but now is the most common expression in any text conversation, just used instead of HAHA or any giggle or something like that. Also used all the time when there's nothing else to say... LOL key should be added to a standard keyboard.
2.ROFL is short for: Rolling on the floor laughing. Straining the fact that it is a lot more funny than your usual lol.
3.LMAO:A chatroom acronym used exclusively by morons, meant to stand for "laughing my ass off". Generally typed in response to deeply unfunny remarks, and also used to feign nonchalance when taunting someone.
4.roflmao:Short for Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off. Often used in online chat rooms. Also an amusing thing to name a cat when pronounced as a word.
5.omg:Possibly the most irritating piece of chatroom vernacular in existence. Often used by teenage girls in chatroom who, for some reason, punctuate their sentences with "Like", "Totally", "soooooooo" and "Lolz."
6.noob:derived from online video games.
often confused with the term newb or newbie, but instead of meaning new to the game as the latter does, noob refers to people who have played the game for a whiel but still suck balls and are ignorant, selfish, and lack the most important skill of all, teamwork.
7.stfu:A way of saying "shut the fuck up", instead of actually typing it. Has less meaning than actually typing "shut the fuck up", and is often said by people that are losing an argument or can't think of a comeback.
8.GG:Exclamation: A way of resignedly expressing one's own defeat or disgust with a situation. Often followed by the object in question.
9.wtf:The universal interrogative particle.
The abbreviation of, most commonly, 'what the fuck', though sometimes also 'who/why/when/where the fuck'. When used with an exclamation point instead of a question mark, it becomes an exclamation of amazement, confusion, disbelief, ect.
10.gl:Normally used is most gaming online lobbys. the term refers to GOOD LUCK. may also be used in conjunction with GG(good game) or HF(have fun).
